AION HRMS is AIONDATA's cloud attendance and payroll platform: punches from eSSL, ZKTeco, Realtime and other biometric terminals feed a live attendance register, and salary is computed from shifts, grace periods, late penalties, paid leave and advances. Once payroll is computed, the accountant still has to book it in TallyPrime. An AION HRMS TallyPrime integration posts each month's salary, deductions and employer contributions as journal vouchers into the right ledgers and cost centres, records advances and their recovery, and can create payment vouchers for salary disbursement, so payroll is booked once and reconciles with the bank.
Outcomes
No. AION HRMS computes salary and contribution amounts but does not file statutory returns, and the integration does not change that. It posts the computed contribution and deduction amounts to the payable ledgers in Tally so your CA or payroll consultant can complete filings from accurate books.
Payroll postings are per run: when a month's payroll is finalised in AION HRMS, the journal and payment vouchers are generated and pushed to Tally when it is reachable. Cost centre and ledger master sync runs on a schedule so mappings stay current.
Each salary component and deduction in AION HRMS is mapped to a Tally ledger in a table your accountant approves, and new components are flagged until mapped. Vouchers carry the payroll run ID so re-posting does not duplicate. Failed vouchers, for example a missing ledger or an unbalanced allocation, are held with the reason rather than posted partially.
Yes. An MCP server can let an assistant answer "what did payroll cost per branch last month" or check that the salary journal matches the bank payment, with HR data access scoped to what the role needs. A standard payroll journal, advances and payments scope typically takes a few weeks.
