A Salesforce Zendesk integration gives support agents the account context they need and gives account teams visibility into what their customers are struggling with. Zendesk tickets sync to Salesforce as cases or a custom Ticket object linked to the account and contact, while Salesforce account tier, ARR, renewal date and owner appear inside the Zendesk agent view for prioritisation and routing. We build this when the marketplace connector falls short: custom objects, complex account matching, SLA-based escalation into Salesforce, or ticket data feeding health scores.
Outcomes
Primary match is email to contact; if no contact exists we match the email domain to the account and either create the contact or hold the ticket for review, depending on your policy. The Salesforce IDs are stored on the Zendesk organisation and user so subsequent matches are exact.
Zendesk triggers and webhooks push ticket creation and updates to Salesforce within seconds, which is what escalation workflows need. Account attribute updates from Salesforce to Zendesk are usually scheduled, for example every 15 minutes, since they change less often.
We map ticket fields, priorities and statuses to Salesforce picklists in a document you sign off. Zendesk ticket ID is the unique key, so retries never duplicate. Failed writes are queued and retried with alerts, and we build a reconciliation report so both sides can be compared at any time.
Yes. An MCP server over both lets an assistant summarise all open tickets for an account ahead of a renewal call, or draft an escalation task for approval. A standard organisation, user, ticket and escalation scope takes a few weeks; health scoring and custom objects add to that.
