Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft & JD Edwards Support

Integration and engineering support for Oracle applications

Oracle offers Premier Support for E-Business Suite 12.2, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Hyperion 11.2 through at least 2037, so the deadline is rarely the problem. The work is around them: interfaces that fail quietly, custom programs nobody owns and new systems that need the records. AIONDATA supports, connects and extends those applications.

Vendor support dates

Oracle Premier Support runs through at least 2037.

Oracle’s support pages say it will offer Premier Support on the Continuous Innovation releases of these on-premises applications through at least 2037 and will review each year whether to extend it. Older releases, such as E-Business Suite 12.1, are outside that commitment.

Oracle E-Business Suite: interfaces and concurrent programs.

A custom EBS interface can depend on years of mappings, scheduled concurrent requests and exception handling. When it fails, the visible problem may be a missing invoice while the cause sits several systems away.

We map the source extracts, custom programs and concurrent requests behind one transaction flow, trace rejected transactions with the functional owner and document the regression checks a patch or interface change needs.

PeopleSoft: records that reach the systems depending on them.

PeopleSoft often remains the system of record for people, finance or campus data while the applications around it change. An approved change that does not reach a downstream system on time becomes a manual task for someone.

We trace the effective-dated record, the interface or batch that moves it and its downstream consumers, then establish replay, duplicate handling and reconciliation without exposing unrelated personal data.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne: use the interfaces you already own.

A connected application needs a reliable business operation, not just access to a table. EnterpriseOne’s custom objects, security and installed tools decide the right boundary.

Before proposing middleware, we evaluate what is already installed, including Orchestrator where it is available, and test permissions, validation and the destination result with the process owner.

Hyperion HFM: loads finance can reconcile before consolidation.

A late load or an unexplained consolidation difference puts the close under pressure. The useful starting point is the path from source ledger to the financial result: extracts, load mappings, dimensions, rules and sign-off.

We compare the approved source, loaded values and consolidation output with finance, separate data, mapping and rule issues, and document the deployment and regression checks needed when an interface or rule changes.

Keep the work moving

Start with the part
your business relies on.

Oracle application owners and integration teams responsible for established finance, HR, supply chain or consolidation workflows.

A batch is late, an external application has stale records and responsibility falls between application teams. The useful starting point is the handoff and its owner, not a blanket replacement of a supported product.

01

Trace an authoritative record

Map the source of truth, custom fields and downstream consumers for the selected process, and who owns each step.

02

Investigate interface failures

Review the installed integration and batch mechanisms with the application owner. Establish replay, duplicate handling and reconciliation appropriate to the records.

03

Reduce upgrade surprises

Identify custom interfaces and scheduling dependencies that a patch, tools update or release change must preserve.

What useful progress looks like

An invoice import with no unexplained remainder.

The source batch completes, but finance cannot account for every expected invoice in the Oracle application.

Illustrative engagement. Scope and acceptance criteria are agreed for your environment.

  1. Match the source batch to interface processing.
  2. Investigate rejects and test the agreed correction.
  3. Reconcile accepted, rejected and retried records.
The acceptance checkThe agreed batch is fully accounted for, with approved accounting mappings and no duplicate invoices.

Where AI could help

Consider an assistant that explains approved interface failures or answers a scoped inquiry. Check Oracle’s own AI capabilities and your agreement before proposing a custom connector.

AI is an optional improvement, assessed against a specific task and measurable outcome.

When to retain and improve

Keep a supported Oracle application when it meets the business need; a surrounding integration can be the entire project.

When to consider modernization

Review older releases, unsupported dependencies and expensive customizations before deciding the scope of change.

A concrete first engagement

Know what you have.
Know what comes next.

An interface assessment for one application and transaction flow: release and tools levels, custom components, batch dependencies and responsibility boundaries.

A paid assessment with scope, access and fee agreed before work starts. You receive findings, an ownership map, prioritized options and a proposed next phase.

Discuss an assessment

Useful details to bring

  • Application, release and tools level
  • Custom interfaces, batch jobs and their owners
  • The affected business process and expected outcome

Missing details are part of the assessment. Please start with what you know about the system and the business problem.

Tell us where the work gets stuck

Bring the problem.
We’ll work through the options.

A recurring error, an integration that needs attention or an application without an owner. Tell us what is happening and what needs to work next.

We confirm delivery fit and responsibilities for your version, module and environment before proposing work. Ongoing care specifies covered systems, working hours, response targets and escalation.

Before we begin

Oracle applications questions.

How long will Oracle support E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft and JD Edwards?

Oracle says it will offer Premier Support on the Continuous Innovation releases of E-Business Suite 12.2, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Hyperion 11.2 through at least 2037, and reviews each year whether to extend it.

Is this a replacement for our Oracle team or partner?

It can be a defined engineering scope alongside them. Functional decisions, data ownership and vendor responsibilities stay explicit.

Can we fix an interface before deciding on a cloud migration?

Yes, when the current environment permits maintainable work. The assessment records which parts of that work may be reusable later.

Does this cover JD Edwards World?

This page scopes EnterpriseOne. A World environment needs a separate assessment of its platform and application requirements.

Can you support a payroll interface?

A particular interface can be assessed, but payroll calculations, statutory changes and country requirements need an explicitly agreed specialist scope.

Will you change our consolidation rules?

Only within an agreed scope, with finance-approved expected results and regression evidence.
