Application and integration support
Investigate GP behavior and integration failures in a defined scope, with a named escalation route.
Microsoft Dynamics GP support
Your next month-end close still needs dependable imports, reports and reconciled records. AIONDATA helps support Dynamics GP and the finance workflows around it while you prepare for what comes next.
Support what matters. Improve what comes next.
Start with the workflow. Choose the change.
Start with the problem
A recurring error. A failed integration. An application only one person understood. Tell us where the work gets stuck.
We’ll confirm fit, access requirements and scope before proposing work. Please do not include credentials or customer records.

01 / Keep the business moving
Transactions still need to reach the ledger. Imports need to be checked. Someone needs to understand what happened when a batch fails halfway through.
We trace the process from the source transaction to its destination, review the installed integration tooling and agree who owns the exception. The result is a defined improvement project and clearer ongoing support responsibilities.
Investigate GP behavior and integration failures in a defined scope, with a named escalation route.
Review mappings, validation and duplicate handling so a failed import can be diagnosed and recovered deliberately.
Make the handoff between source records, GP and downstream reports visible to the finance owner.
Document integration dependencies, customizations and data requirements before choosing the next ERP path.
02 / Make the improvement concrete
Consider a transaction held because an account mapping is missing. Finance needs the validation reason, the source reference and a way to check whether anything has already been created before retrying.
Explore the three steps. This is an illustrative workflow, not a production demo or a promise of compatibility with every release.
AI is optional. Ownership is essential. An assistant could help explain an exception. Validation, permissions and the decision to change a record still need explicit controls.
The import is held for review. Finance can see the source transaction and the validation reason instead of repeating the entire batch.
Synthetic example. No live Dynamics GP connection or customer results. Actual behavior depends on your release, interfaces and agreed scope.
Built around your environment
We review the GP version and integration tools, including eConnect or Integration Manager where applicable. Arbitrary database writes are not a substitute for application validation.
Check transaction identity and partial completion before repeating an import. Define what is safe to retry and when finance needs to review an exception.
The success signal is the destination record and its agreed reconciliation checks. Logs, source references and an operating runbook make the result reviewable.
03 / A concrete first step
The System Continuity Assessment gives you a written view of the environment, one priority workflow and the options worth considering.
A paid, defined engagement. We agree the scope, fixed fee and access requirements before work begins. Implementation and care are scoped separately.
Discuss an assessmentApplication release, hosting, customizations, interfaces and critical dependencies.
Where work becomes manual, which handoffs fail and who needs to resolve them.
What your team, AIONDATA and existing vendors would each own.
Prioritized findings, options and a scoped recommendation for the next phase.
04 / Clear responsibilities
After the assessment, choose a focused improvement project or an ongoing care agreement. Covered systems, working hours, response targets and escalation belong in writing.
Application and integration issues, scoped customizations, tests, monitoring and operating documentation.
Application ownership, access decisions, accounting rules, change acceptance and named process owners.
Licenses, manufacturer patches, hosted services and specialist obligations retained under their agreements.
Independent engineering support does not extend the manufacturer’s lifecycle. A discontinued hosted service may require export and transition rather than continued operation.

Before we begin
Yes. We review the source data, mappings, installed integration tool and error behavior. The repair scope includes validation, duplicate handling and reconciliation appropriate to the transaction, rather than simply replaying every failed batch.
Not as a blanket product statement. Microsoft’s announcement sets product support and updates through 31 December 2029 and security patches through 30 April 2031. Older installed releases and related software need separate checks.
We can assess workflows using those tools and scope integration work for the installed version and configuration. Availability, licensing and the operations supported by a particular adapter must be checked in the customer environment.
Yes. Finance retains ownership of accounting decisions and approvals. We agree the engineering scope, access, change windows and escalation responsibilities with the application owner and existing providers.
They are not automatically included. Those responsibilities, vendor entitlements and any specialist dependencies must be explicitly established in the agreement. Application support does not imply unlimited regulatory or payroll coverage.
Some surrounding components and operating knowledge can be reused, but destination mappings and business rules may change. We document the boundaries so the next project can assess reuse honestly rather than promising a migration-proof integration.
After reviewing the environment, we define covered applications and integrations, reserved capacity, working hours, response targets and escalation. Larger improvements and a future migration are scoped separately.
