Official MCP server: in preview. Workday's Agent-Ready Tools expose HR and finance actions over MCP to early access customers through Workday Extend Professional; general availability is projected for the second half of 2026.

Which Workday APIs do you integrate with?

We work with Workday Web Services (SOAP) for Human Resources, Staffing, Absence and Payroll operations, the Workday REST API where available, and RaaS custom reports for efficient outbound extracts. We can also build or maintain EIB and Workday Studio integrations if your team standardises on them.

Can you connect Workday to payroll and accounting?

Yes. Workday-to-payroll and Workday-to-finance are the most common requests, covering worker demographics, compensation changes, time off and cost-centre allocations. We validate totals against payroll registers and general ledger postings before go-live.

Can AI agents access Workday safely?

Yes. AIONDATA can expose Workday to AI agents via a custom MCP server that wraps specific reports and operations as tools, using an Integration System User with constrained security groups. Sensitive fields such as compensation can be excluded or masked.

How do you handle Workday tenant refreshes and releases?

We build against versioned web service endpoints and test in the sandbox tenant ahead of each Workday feature release. Integration credentials and configuration are documented so tenant refreshes do not break the connection.
