Official MCP server: in preview. WooCommerce's MCP integration is a developer preview behind a feature flag; it runs on your store through the WordPress MCP Adapter with Application Password auth and covers products and orders.
Besides syncing WooCommerce with your other systems, we can give Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot controlled access to it through an MCP server: read-only tools first, write actions with approval steps, and every call logged.

How do you integrate WooCommerce with an ERP or accounting system?
We use the WooCommerce REST API and webhooks (order.created, order.updated, product.updated) to move orders and catalog changes, and write status, tracking and stock back to the store. The integration runs outside WordPress so it does not slow down the site, and all failures are logged and retried.
Our WooCommerce site is on shared hosting. Does that affect the integration?
It can. Webhook delivery and API throughput depend on the hosting environment, so we design the sync to tolerate slow or missed webhooks by reconciling on a schedule. We also advise on caching and security plugin settings that commonly block REST API calls.
Can AI agents access WooCommerce order and customer data?
Yes. AIONDATA can expose WooCommerce to AI agents through a custom MCP server with tools like find order by email, check product stock, or summarize a customer history. Credentials are held by the MCP server, not the agent, and each tool is limited to the operations you approve.
Can you support multiple WooCommerce stores or multi-currency?
Yes. We handle multiple stores feeding a single ERP, multi-currency orders, and plugin-driven fields such as custom checkout attributes or subscription data. Store-specific mappings are kept configurable so adding a new store does not require rebuilding the integration.
