Official MCP server: none yet. SAP offers no ready-made S/4HANA MCP server for outside AI clients; the MCP gateway in SAP Integration Suite (service-plan dependent) publishes your own from S/4HANA APIs.

Besides syncing SAP S/4HANA with your other systems, we can give Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot controlled access to it through an MCP server: read-only tools first, write actions with approval steps, and every call logged.

Which S/4HANA integration options do you support?

For S/4HANA Cloud we use the released OData V2/V4 and SOAP APIs documented on the SAP Business Accelerator Hub, authenticated via communication arrangements. For on-premise S/4HANA we can also use BAPIs through RFC, IDocs for asynchronous document exchange, or custom OData services built with SAP Gateway.

Do we need SAP Integration Suite (CPI) to integrate S/4HANA?

No. If you already license SAP Integration Suite we are happy to build iFlows on it, but many clients prefer a lighter custom API sync or a third-party iPaaS. We recommend the approach based on your existing licenses, message volumes, and how much of the logic needs to live inside the SAP landscape.

Can an AI agent read or write data in S/4HANA?

Yes. AIONDATA can build a custom MCP server that wraps selected S/4HANA APIs as tools, with role-based scoping so an agent can, for example, read order status and stock but only create documents after human approval. This keeps SAP authorizations in control while giving your teams a conversational interface to the ERP.

How do you manage change and testing in an S/4HANA landscape?
