AIONDATA builds Sage Intacct integrations using the Web Services XML API, the newer REST API, Smart Events for outbound triggers, and Platform Services custom objects when needed.
Most integrations use the Web Services API, an XML-based interface that supports create, read, update, query, and the reporting functions across Intacct objects. Sage has also introduced a REST API, and we use it where the objects you need are available, along with Smart Events to trigger outbound calls when records change.
Yes, the Web Services subscription and a Sender ID are required to call the API, and the client typically obtains these through Sage or their partner. We set up a dedicated Web Services user with restricted permissions so the integration is auditable and separate from staff logins.
Yes. AIONDATA can build a custom MCP server that exposes Intacct queries and reports as tools, so an AI agent can answer questions about AR ageing, vendor spend, or entity-level results and, with approval, create bills or journal entries. Access is limited by the Web Services user's permissions.
