We build Teams apps using the Bot Framework and Teams SDK for bots and message extensions, Adaptive Cards for interactive notifications and approvals, and Microsoft Graph for channels, chats, users and files. Authentication uses Microsoft Entra ID so users are identified with their existing accounts.
Power Automate is a good fit for simple notifications and approval flows, especially with Dynamics 365. Custom Teams apps make sense when you need conversational bots, complex Adaptive Card interactions, or connections to systems without a good Power Automate connector. We often combine both.

Apps are registered in your Entra ID tenant with least-privilege Graph permissions, and admins control availability through the Teams admin center. We follow Microsoft app manifest and permission guidelines and can support tenant-scoped deployment without publishing to the public store.
